Text Message Consent
How customers opt in to texts from Waterfront Realty Group, Inc. · Last updated: September 8, 2026
Waterfront Realty Group, Inc. is a licensed Florida real estate brokerage in Naples. We send text messages only to people who asked for them. This page shows every way a customer can opt in, the exact words they agree to, what we send, and how to stop. It is published so anyone — including the wireless carriers that review our messaging program — can check it without an account.
1. Open-house sign-in (our primary opt-in)
A visitor at one of our open houses signs in on the tablet at the door, or scans the QR code on our yard sign to open the same form on their own phone. Giving a phone number is optional. Text-message consent is a separate checkbox that is unchecked by default, is not required to sign in or tour the home, and reads exactly as shown below:
See the form itself, exactly as visitors see it, at waterfrontrealtygroup.com/oh/sample. That sample never saves or sends anything. Live sign-in links carry a per-event code and exist only while that open house is scheduled.
When a visitor checks the box, the sign-in stores the disclosure text above word for word, with the date, time and phone number, as the record of consent.
2. Seller notices (spoken consent)
A property owner who has a written listing agreement with us can receive short notices about their own listing — that an open house has been scheduled, when, and which Realtor will be there. Texting a seller is off by default. The listing Realtor asks first:
“May I text you the open house schedule and showing notices for your property? Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to stop.”
Only after the seller says yes does the Realtor turn on text notices for that seller.
3. What we send
Every message names Waterfront Realty Group, Inc. and tells the recipient how to stop. These samples are produced by the same code that sends the real messages; names and addresses are illustrative.
1. Welcome text, sent the moment a visitor signs in with consent (customer care)
2. Next-day check-in (customer care)
3. About a week later — similar listings (marketing)
4. Open-house notice to a seller who said yes (account notification)
5. Reply to HELP
6. Reply to STOP
We do not send recruiting messages, cold outreach, or messages on behalf of any other business from this program.
