Villa Lantana is nestled in the heart of Pelican Bay just off Green Tree Drive. It is a community of 24 attached and detached villa homes. Many of the homes in Villa Lantana have private pools. The community has paver drives and a mature landscape. Pelican Bay is home to the Philharmonic Center For The Arts as well as the world-class Naples Grande and Ritz Carlton Hotels. Nearby Waterside shops offer fine dining and shopping. Pelican Bay residents enjoy dining under the stars at the private beach pavilions. Transportation to and from the beach pavilions is provided on open-air trams along a winding boardwalk through preserve areas offering spectacular nature views. Both boardwalks to the beach are 1,800 feet long and wind their way through mangrove forests, coastal conservation areas, and over portions of the inner bay system. The Pelican Bay beach pavilions are located directly on the Gulf of Mexico.
They accommodate food service, open and covered deck areas, dressing areas, showers, and restrooms. Beach chairs, cabanas, and umbrellas are also available. The Sand Bar is located at the end of the south boardwalk, while at the end of the north boardwalk is The Sandpiper Beach Club. The casual atmosphere, the sound of the waves gently rolling in and the awesome sunsets make the restaurants inviting and popular. The Picnic Pod, located at the south end of the beach, features picnic tables and gas grills. The facilities are for the exclusive use of residents and their guests. Many special and holiday events are held at the beach facilities. There are two locations for tennis courts: Commons Park has 10 tennis courts - two hard surface courts and 8 Har-Tru courts.
Hammock Oak Park has 8 Har-Tru courts equipped with lights. Tennis lessons are available from the tennis pros and staff. There are four parks within Pelican Bay. Commons is a 10-acre park and is the location of the administrative offices of the Pelican Bay Foundation, tram station, tennis courts, shuffleboard and horseshoe courts. Hammock Oak Park, in the northeast section, has tennis courts, open fields, horseshoe and shuffleboard courts. Oakmont Park has bike paths and a children's play area, as well as a preserve of turkey oaks. Ridgewood Park faces a lake and has a 10-station fitness circuit, a chickee hut with picnic tables, and a children's playground.
