Cape Coral

The City of Cape Coral is located on the Southwest Coast of Florida with more than 400 miles of canals that wind in and around the residential and commercial areas of this large city. Considered the second largest city in the State of Florida, Cape Coral is made up of 120 square miles of land and is the largest city in Southwest Florida and the largest between Tampa and Miami. It is estimated that Cape Coral's population will exceed 400,000 people by 2080. Cape Coral is part of Lee County Florida and the School District of Lee County. There are many golf courses, tennis centers, boat ramps, and natural preserve areas for the outdoor enthusiast to enjoy. There is an extensive parks and recreation department in charge of various recreational activities and parks including Coral Oaks Golf Course, Eagle Skate Park, Sun Splash Family Waterpark, Wm. Bill Austen Youth Center, and the Wagging Tails Dog Park. There is a Cultural Park Theatre, Cape Coral Historical Museum, Farmer's Market, and more. The average annual temperature in Cape Coral is 74.4 F. There are three major investment districts in Cape Coral; the Pine Island Road Corridor, the Downtown Community Redevelopment Area, and the City Centrum plus two industrial parks. Residential communities include Coral Cove Condominiums, Cape Harbour, Cape Royal/Royal Tee Country Club, Sandoval and Tarpon Point Yacht Club and Marina.
